The section announcements in Every Sound There Is include brief pieces of music (“stings”). You are invited to contribute a sting for potential future use in the podcast.

Guidelines

• The sting can be based on any of the Beatles’ songs released by EMI between 1962 and 1970.

• Duration 15 seconds.

• Don’t fade it out.

• Original recordings only – no samples. Midi allowed.

• Extra credit if the sting has a meaningful connection to a particular section heading. For example, the big piano chord at the end of “A Day in the Life” is the ultimate conclusion and so is perfect for the Conclusion section announcement.

Submit your sting by email to david@everysoundthereis.net as a WAV file or a high-quality MP3 file (at least 256 kbps). Include an explanation of how it is relevant to one of the section headings.

If I like your sting, I’ll include it in one or more episodes and give you a verbal credit at the end of the episode(s).
